Frequently Asked Questions

Please find answers to common questions here.

1.

How early can you start drivers education?

Teens can start drivers education at 15 years 5 months of age.

2.

Do I have to have my temps to start driver's education?

No. A student can start driver's education without their temps however we will need a copy of these in their file plus they MUST have them in order for them to drive in any vehicle.

3.

Do I have to start class on a certian day?

With our program you can start any day that you would like. You must attend all 24 hours of class but they do not have to be taken in order. If a student needs to miss a class for any reason they will need to make it up 2 weeks to the day. We repeat each classroom session every 2 weeks

4.

What do I need to start class

On your first day we ask you to bring your payment, a pen or pencil, a notebook, a positive attitude, and these forms. (Please bring your temps if you have them so that we can make a copy for your file)

5.

When can I schedule my behind the wheel driving sessions?

As soon as you complete the classroom portion of the education and we have a complete file. (this includes passing test scores, copy of temps, and signed agreement and notes and policys.

6.

What happens if I am late for class?

The state of Ohio requires a minimum of 24 hours of classroom education. If you are running behind it is probably in your best interest to make the class up. We do not admit students who are late.

7.

Can I pick my instructor?

When it comes to the classroom portion of the education, each instructor takes a specific night. When it comes to the behind the wheel portion of the education you can select your instructor, but you must keep the same instructor for all 4 of your behind the wheel driving sessions. (occasionally we will move a studnet due to illness or emergency situations) If a student selects multiple instructors we will cancel all appointments that are different from 1st session.

8.

How long does it take to complete driver's education?

There are 24 hours of classroom which is 8 days Monday - Thursday for 2 weeks, after the classroom you need to 4- 2 hour driving sessions. Our goal is to complete students in about 45 days, however during the summer months especially right before school there are time that we have a couple week lag between a student getting out of class and being able to start driving.

9.

What happens if I miss a driving appointment or don't have my temps?

We require a 24 hour notice for canceling driving appointments. Failure to give a 24 hour notice will result in a missed appointment fee being levied against your account and all future driving sessions canceled. This is also the case if you do not have your temps. the state requires all drivers to have their license with them when driving.

10.

There is a forgotten password link that you can click on and request it. If you still need assistance please feel free to give us a call and we can help you out. 513-939-1222
